Some dose of paranoia is justified. For example, printers contain yellow tracking dots.

However, this isn't a list of things to be paranoid about. Also, there is a difference between
actionable paranoia versus thinking about things you can do nothing about. Also, the
things you do take action on shouldn't conflict with standard activities (for example, not
being able to shower due to gremlins in the drain).
So what type of things are reasonable and actionable?
-using encrypted hard drives
-encrypting email (pgp) or signing it with a certificate
-using https instead of http
-not posting private content in public avenues (facebook, myspace)
-credit freeze
