9 inch unbaked pastry shell
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 tablespn flour
1 teaspn cinnamon
1/2 teaspn salt
1/4 teaspn ginger
1/4 teaspn nutmeg
2 cups pumpkin (or butternut squash). Pie punkins are preferable to jack-o-latern punkins
13 or 14 ounce can of evaporated milk
Throw all ingredients in blender, mix until combined. Shape crust in a oiled pie pan. Preheat oven to 450F. Pour blended ingredients into pie crust, place pie in oven. Bake 10 minutes at 450F. Turn oven down to 350F for 40 to 50 minutes or until knife/toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
