2 lbs of talapia, cut into 2" squares. Rinse. Coat with 1 tblspn salt, 2 teaspns tumeric
heat 1/4 inch oil in fry pan to hot.
add fish, maintaining separation
after frying all fish light golden brown, re-add all to oiled pan and add
1 teaspn tumeric
1 teaspn chili powder
1/2 teaspn kashmiri mirch (like chili powder).
Simmer with 1 cup water for 5 minutes
